As Andy says, there are givers and takers. There's a lot of people who contribute tremendous effort for the oudoors. On balance, at least around here, I think those efforts show themselves in the pretty high quality of our public access areas.

For my part, I'll resolve to take a trash bag with me next time I'm out in the woods. I'm pretty sure I can pack out whatever debris 3 or 4 jerks leave behind. Assuming the jerks are in the minority, that'll be a good impact.
