Make your own deer decoy you say? Would be interesting, i think you might want to watch the cost of the supplies it would take though, if you spend anything over $90 you might as well just go out and splurge on a pro made one. But i've heard stories of deer running into deer statues, so sounds like it wouldn't take too much.

I hope your not thinking of
I hope your not thinking of using that during gun season! I wouldn't want to give anyone any reason to be shooting in my direction.
I've been having a problem with deer not responding to my calls recently. I've been using a primos bleat can call and if i'm lucky they'll look in my direction. If not then they just completely ignore it. I was thinking that maybe having a decoy would work, but they are so expensive, I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of or has made a deer decoy themselves.
